Meridas in Pirna

I have eaten there with my girlfriend a few times (4/5 times). I have no idea what to say about it ... I am still speechless from the super great service that "Peter" provided, a great waiter who you can tell that he likes his job, not to mention the food that serves us whether steaks, garlic bread, or side dishes. Perfectly prepared and simply delicious. No long waiting times, nothing, just great. Keep up the good work, we will definitely continue to come to you in the future. I can only recommend. Unfortunately, that didn't convince us. After a long day of hiking, we decided on the Meridas. A very nice service person welcomed us and stayed very nice and pleasant the whole time. For food we had decided on wraps and were unfortunately not very enthusiastic here. For the high price you got a really small wrap, which was so boring in its composition that no real taste sensation occurred. The whole thing was more like a small side salad with some flatbreads around it. It's a shame, actually, as the ingredients themselves were fresh!

Nice place, but, despite the name, NOT really Spanish or Mexican. The fajitas were more boiled than fried (probably the veggies were cooked with the meat from the start). My Mexican wife was not impressed. But the beef tartare was delicious, as was the steak (a shoulder piece). The wine was excellent. The service was a little inconsistent, depending on what waiter's attention you managed to grab.

Incredibly good food. We almost didn't pass here - it would have been such a shame. It was already clear when we were greeted that something special was waiting for us here. We were given professional advice when choosing the food - after naming our preferences, we accepted the recommendations and it was exceptional. Goosebumps when eating because it's so delicious I haven't seen it in a long time. The starter platter with cheese sticks, onion rings and homemade (although almost everything is homemade - just as it should be in a good restaurant) nachos are worth the trip alone. But the main course managed to top that. We'll probably go back to Pirna from Münster, just to eat here. You seldom find such a quality. And such incredible service anyway.

We wanted to eat something there. It was 9:15 pm. We were asked if we still want to eat. We said yes. Then it was said the kitchen was already closed. Thank you, the store won't see us again. Although open until 23:00. ADDENDUM to the answer from Team Meridas: The opening times are announced on the Meridas homepage. It is not specified until what time you can order. You'd better remove Goethe's saying on the homepage: No pleasure is temporary, because the impression it leaves is permanent. In terms of taste, we cannot make any impression. But an impression of the rest.

We had a couple of nice seats in front of the restaurant. Although the traffic bothers a little, thanks to the charm of Pirna's old town and the beautiful evening sun, that doesn't matter. The restaurant is pretty modern and very cozy in terms of furnishings. The ambience just fits. Even though it was very well attended, the service was always there and responded to every request, no matter how small, promptly and always very friendly. The meal was a dream. In our case, a steak and the beef salad. Both in terms of appearance and taste are simply brilliant. In order not to simply give 5 stars, we decided to order dessert. When these were served and tasted, I was even more sure of the 5 stars. Should I come to Pirna again ... I will definitely eat here again.

A first class restaurant with a very dedicated chef who gives excellent advice. A restaurateur with body and soul and a great team.

The ambience is very nice, young friendly staff. The food itself tasted so-so. So again we would not go there to eat, purely in taste. Waiting time was ok about 15 minutes, was not very busy. It would also be nice if everyone got the food at the same time and not little by little.

Unfortunately you can't order everything at 9pm ?! This is probably the case in small towns! Still I wonder. Why the cook can't blow up the hotplate one last time for this "last" meal 🤔 The rest was OK but not a highlight. Cyclist top Toilets only by stairs and therefore not suitable for wheelchairs. W LAN not tried . . You know me, it's "my" opinion. Why not give it a try yourself? If you liked my review I would be happy about a 👍🏼 top.

Nice restaurant with a great ambience. Service friendly and courteous. The dishes are of good quality, tastefully coordinated and stylishly arranged. The portion sizes varied significantly this evening. The salad with beef fillet strips, the pikeperch and the coconut chicken were clearly too small, so we had to reorder something accordingly. The ribs are very tender, it would be nice if the BBQ marinade could soak in before grilling and not be brushed over it shortly beforehand. The grappa is recommended .... A children's menu would also be desirable ....

One of the few restaurants in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains that offer food longer than 20:00. Nice staff and everything clean. Good drinks and food. Fast service. Price okay.

Very nice attentive friendly service. Good food a bit naked without green stuff but it tasted good anyway. The next time I have to order salad. I missed a little salad side dish.

Professional but relaxed-funny waiters, reaaally great food! We also received an appetizer as a "greeting from the kitchen", a soup and a small cup of chilli con carne. The time there was great and I can definitely recommend it

The restaurant has new owners and they did really well. A beautiful wine cellar is waiting in the basement. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service is very friendly and helpful. The food is very good and is lovingly presented with one or two highlights on the plate. In addition to meat dishes, the menu also offers good and beautiful vegetarian dishes.

Service on point, got a amuse when was told the food was going to take longer

Good food, good service. We were lucky to enjoy the last evening of an indian summer and had our dinner outside. If you don't mind the odd Porsche passing by(the restaurant is situated on the edge of a pedestrian-zone), great ambiance.
